Job Description

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER II:

  1. Ensure integration of specialization in the development programs pertaining to the operations of social services of MSSD;
  2. Prepare consolidated reports and submit recommendations based on observations and submitted reports;
  3. Identify areas for action research necessary for the development of the social services programs;
  4. Identify and recommend additional functions under Program Management for a more effective implementation of programs;
  5. Recommends other programs which may complement/supplement or modify existing programs/projects/activities PAPs of MSSD;
  6. Assists in liaison work with other government agencies or civil society organizations as the need arises;
  7. Assist in other integrated government and civic projects/programs related to the operations of social services;
  8. Assist LGAs, LGUs, CSOs and POs in the development, preparation, and packaging of project proposals;
  9. Formulate policies and procedures to simplify availment of funding requests and/or selection/endorsement of projects for fund matching;
  10. Develop assessment tools for review/screening/endorsement of project proposals.
  11. Establish and maintain linkages with donor agencies or development partners, both local and international, through sectoral meetings/consultations, workshops/writeshop conferences/project fairs, and participation in missions;
  12. Develop monitoring, evaluation and learning guidelines, tools and reporting systems;
  13. Conduct assessment and evaluation of social welfare development projects implemented by LGUs, NGPs, POs; and establish data bank of projects with funding reports and its current status.
  14. Performs other tasks that may be required from time to time.
